• in Absolute Encoders

  Photocraft, Inc. has a variety of absolute encoders in miniature, industrial or modular formats. Miniature absolute encoders come in 9-bit, and are single-turn and can be used as a non-contact potentiometer. Industrial absolute encoders come in 10-bit single turn digital absolute position encoder, for use with systems needing up to 1024 unique positions per revolution.  Modular absolute encoders are 11-bit digital, and are designed for relaxed precision alignment tolerances.

  Photocraft manufactures a full line of incremental and absolute rotary encoders. These include shaft encoders, hollow shaft, programmable and wheeled encoders. Their single-turn, absolute encoders provide up to about 10-bit resolution and are vailable in low cost miniature, modular and industrial configurations. Programmable encoders (available on many models of shaft, hollow shaft and wheeled encoders) allow you to select pulses per revolution, output circuit, and other features at installation time.

• in Incremental Encoders

  Photocraft Inc has incremental encoders in compact-size wheeled and conveyer wheeled designs. Compact wheel increment encoders have a 2" diameter and have a single-pulse output for use with a variety of mounting accessories for conveyer systems. Conveyer wheeled incremental encoders have a single-pulse output, designed for high resolution applications, delivering either 1,800 or 3,600 pulses per revolution.

  • Model R21: Single pulse output with 16 pulses per revolution
