    MacFarland Associates offers AC motors for motion control applications. Motors come in two configurations: HTSPS0488 AC motors, and HTUVR0550 AC motors.     MacFarland Associates offers Series 5300, 4100, 3500, 2600, and 2100 brush servo motors. 5300 and 4100 Series motors have continuous torque ratings of up to 48 lb-in, with speeds up to 3000 RPM. Peak torque ratings for 5300 Series can reach up to 350 lb-in, and peak torque ratings for the 4100 series can reach up to 240 lb-in. The 3500 Series motors have continuous torque ratings of up to 11 lb-in, speeds up to 4600 RPM, and peak torque ratings of up to 94 lb-in.     MacFarland Associates offers: linear brushless servo motors, Econoline brushless servo motors, brushless servo motors, and brushless direct drive motors. Linear brushless servomotors have a maximum peak force of 1335 lbs, a maximum velocity of 240 in/sec, and can accelerate up to 12 G's. Econoline brushless servomotors range in size from 35 x 20 to 75 x 60. The maximum nominal torque is 70 Ncm, and the maximum speed is 8000 min-1. Brushless servo motors come in a variety of configurations, including: 60-110 mm servo motors, brushless wet servo motor, Series 5000 servo motors, etc. The MDM-5000-110 brushless servo motor, for example, can achieve up to 37.60 Nm of torque. Brushless direct drive motors come in flange and flangeless configurations, and sizing ranges from 108 mm to 406 mm.

    MacFarland Associates manufactures commercial DC gearmotors, industrial planetary DC gearmotors, industrial spur DC gearmotors, and industrial worm DC gearmotors. The commercial gearmotors feature shaft speeds of 3 to 1500 rpm and are designed for OEM applications where high torque and small size are required. The planetary gearmotors provide ratios from 4:1 to 308:1 and produce up to 1000 Ncm continuous torque - with outputs from 10 to 750 rpm. The worm gearmotors provide ratios from 3:1 to 100:1, with outputs up to 1333 rpm.

  • in Servomotors

    MacFarland Associates offers brush servomotors and brushless servomotors. The five series of brush servomotors are rated anywhere from 12 oz.-in. to 350 lb-in. with speeds and torque stability up to 3000, 3500, 4600, or 6500 rpm. The brushless servomotors are available as direct drive, linear, and econoline types.

  • in Stepper Motors

    MacFarland Associates manufactures 2-phase and 5-phase stepper motors. The 2-phase motors feature a 39mm motor with high torque output, and holding torque of 8.3 oz-in., 13 oz-in. or 22 oz-in. The motors can operate at temperatures ranging from 0 to 50C.

    MacFarland Associates offers DC limited angle torque motors in a variety of sizes and configurations. Motors stators come in two forms: toroidally wound iron core or stationary, arc segmented, multipole permanent magnet. Rotors come in two forms: low inertia wound wire, or 2/4/6 pole permanent magnet. These motors can provide angular excursions of up to 180°, and are typically supplied without bearings, shaft, or housing to allow for direct mounting to customer supplied bearing systems. The maximum peak torque is 1200 oz-in, and the maximum continuous torque is 400 oz-in.
