Anaheim Automation

Anaheim Automation was founded in 1966 as a manufacturer of turnkey motion control systems. They now offer servo motors, brushless DC motors, DC brush motors, AC motors, drives, controllers, gearmotors, gearboxes, couplings, brakes, tables and linear guides that can be purchased as printed circuit boards, modular or as integrated motor/driver/controller units, and driver packs.

  • in AC Motors

    Anaheim Automation offers: AC synchronous motors, AC synchronous gearmotors, AC induction motors, and AC induction gearmotors. Synchronous motor speed is 72 RPM, the maximum torque reaches up to 708 oz-in, and the maximum pull-in torque is 708 oz-in. Synchronous gearmotors are available in five configurations, and run at up to 416 RPM (with single-phase 110 VAC). Induction motors come in two configurations: ACP-M and ACW. Induction motors have a maximum torque of 396 oz-in, have a maximum motor speed of 1800 RPM, and get up to 7.3" in length. Induction gearmotors come in two configurations: ACP-M for gearbox and ACWGM. Induction gearmotor diameters range from 2.34" to 3.9", and have torque ratings from 16 to 5,664 oz-in.

    Anaheim Automation manufactures BLDC motor controllers for high volume OEM applications. With an input range of 10 to 50 VDC or 85 to 135 VAC, the controllers feature maximum power of 75 to 1,500 watts and peak current of 5 to 30 amps. The controllers are available as PCB or enclosed styles.

    Anaheim Automation offers: small DC brush motors, PMDC brush motors with spur gearbox, PMDC brush motors with planetary gearbox, and 56C permanent magnet brush motors. Motors range in size from 20mm to 52mm in diameter, and can deliver torque from 0.08 to 18.47 oz-in. PMDC brush motors with spur gearboxes have motor frame sizes ranging from 24 mm to 90 mm, gear ratios ranging from 3:1 to 3000:1, and up to 19,026 oz-in of torque. PMDC brush motors with planetary gearboxes range in frame size from 22mm to 60mm, have gear ratios ranging from 3.6:1 to 720:1, and a continuous torque of up to 4,166 oz-in. 56C permanent brush motors have horsepower levels ranging from 1/2 to 1 Hp with various operating voltages. These motors can deliver torque from 288 to 576 oz-in.

    Anaheim Automation offers: IP65 rated brushless DC motors, brushless motors with spur gearboxes, brushless motors with planetary gearboxes, and brushless DC motors.  IP65 rated brushless DC motors have peak torque ratings of up to 297 oz-in, and they are available in NEMA frame sizes 23 and 34. Brushless motors with spur gearboxes are offered in NEMA frame sizes 23 and 34, they have peak torque ratings ranging from 694 to 22,500 oz-in, and a maximum rated speed of 4000 RPM. Brushless motors with planetary gearboxes are offered in NEMA sizes ranging from 09 to 23, and provide peak torque ratings from 3 to 6,249 oz-in. Speeds ranges from 500 to 15,000 RPM. Brushless DC motors range in size from 0.3" to 4.8" in diameter, and are available with peak torque ratings ranging from 0.7 to 900 oz-in.

    Anaheim Automation manufactures brushless DC drives designed for high volume OEM applications. Featuring 0-5VDC input control, the brushless speed controllers are available as board mount, under 1 HP, and 1 HP and over models. Drive specifications include input ranges from 6 to 135 VAC, maximum power from 24 to 1,500 watts, and peak current from 3 to 60 amps.

Stepper products come in a variety of configurations, including: stepper motors, gearmotors, linear actuators, motors with integrated drivers/controllers, drivers, controllers/indexers, drivers with controllers, etc. Stepper products range from the smallest 08Y series with 2.5 oz-in of torque, to the largest 42K series, with up to 5,700 oz-in of torque. Brushless DC products come in a variety of configurations, including: brushless motors, gearmotors, motors with integrated controllers, and drivers/controllers. Brushless motors range from 0.02 to 2,200 watts, have torques from 0.7 to 900 oz-in, and are available in size NEMA 03 to 48. Brush DC products come in DC motor, DC gearmotor, and DC driver/controller configurations. DC motors have a torque range of 0.3 to 576 oz-in. AC products come in motor, gearbox, and driver/controller configurations. The AC motor line can provide torque from 5 to 1,700 oz-in, and sizing ranges from 50mm to 150mm.

    Anaheim Automation manufactures two series of low profile, screw-driven tables: he LS100 Series (unsupported rails) and the LS500 Series (supported rails). The lead screws in this Table product line are 400 series, stainless steel, precision rolled, with burnished finish and a zero backlash nut, accurate up to 0.003"/ft. These Screw-Driven Tables are available as Open-Loop or Closed-Loop Systems (wherein stepper motors are assembled with encoders), with several options available, such as light or heavy duty configurations, travel lengths, homing and limit switches, lead screw pitch, as well as many stepper motor choices.

    Anaheim Automation produces ball and acme screw positioning tables for a variety of applications, including: part insertion, liquid dispensing, part scanning biotech automation, pick & place, encoders, etc. High precision ball screw-driven tables have accuracy requirement ranges from 20 to 50 μm, speeds up to 36"/sec, and travel ranges from 100 to 1240 mm. Standard precision acme screw-driven tables feature speed ranges of up to 12"/sec, accuracy requirements within 0.003", and a wide range of optional travel models or encoders.

    Anaheim Automation offers high torque stepper motors. The stepper motor product line ranges from the smallest NEMA 08Y series with up to 4.2 oz-in of torque, to the largest NEMA 42K series with up to 5,700 oz-in of torque. The stepper motor line includes Specialty-Type stepper motors, such as IP65-Rated Stepper Motors and Integrated Stepper Motor-Driver-Controller packages, wherein the driver/controller circuitry is built into the stepper motor assembly. Most high-torque stepper motors have a 1.8-degree step angle as standard, yet other step angels are available.

    Anaheim Automation designs and manufactures XY screw-driven tables/stages. The company's XY positioning tables are used for light and heavy load applications with accuracy requirements of 0.003 in/ft and speed ranges up to 12 in/sec.
