XY Stages & Tables

Spectra Services distributes motorized XY stages manufactured by LUDL, Physik Instruments, and Prior Scientific. The stages are used for upright and inverted microscopes.

H2W Technologies Inc. manufactures XY extrusion, open frame belt stage gantries that feature travel of 40" by 40" and payload of up to 100 lbs. The company also produces 2-axis belt drive stages, five-axis linear-powered positioning stages, and two-axis linear stepper motor gantry stages.

Zaber Technologies Inc. produces XY two-axis stages with built-in controllers. The stages feature travel of 13 mm to 1500 mm per axis, maximum payload of 10 kg to 100 kg, and maximum thrust of 25 N to 560 N. The stages are available as miniature linear, high-load linear, and standard linear types.

SMAC Moving Coil Actuators manufactures high precision and high speed XY stages equipped with 5 um encoder down to 0.05 um encoder for precise positioning and scanning within the bioscience, medial, and photonics industries. The XY stages feature stroke per axis of 10 mm, 15 mm or 25 mm.

Semprex Corporation manufactures motorized and manual XY stages for microscopes. Manual XY stage types include biological stereo, precision, high resolution, micrometer, disk media, and biotech inverted. Motorized XY stage types include precision, disk media, and biotech inverted. The majority of stages feature linear accuracy to less than 1 micron error in 3000, and flatness and straightness of better than 1 in 5000.

Techno Inc. - a division of Linear Motion Systems - manufactures actuator XY tables, standard-duty linear slide XY tables, heavy duty linear slide XY tables, narrow profile linear slide XY tables, and belt driven XY tables. The linear slide tables are available in face to face and right angle mount configurations, while the belt driven tables feature 500 mm x 500 mm to 1000 mm x 3000 mm travel.

Kyocera America designs and produces ultrasonic X-Y stages used in lithography, wafer inspection, ion beam defect correction, and scanning electron microscope applications. The stages feature positioning of plus or minus 1 micron, high speed drive of 500 mm/sec, and stroke of 300 mm x 300 mm.

Thermionics manufactures XY stages that feature travel of 0.5" or 1", 1.39"-6.3" bellows, and maximum bakeout temperature of 200C. The stages provide precise two-axis positioning, are comprised of precision linear way bearings, and feature aluminum stage construction.

Nor-Cal Products Inc. fabricates XY stages with bellows. These stages feature travel of 1/2" to 1", CF flanges, various mounting orientations, precision linear way bearings, and maximum bakeout temperature of 150C. When used with a probe, the stages allow probe location to shift with affecting its angle.

Pacific Precision Laboratories designs and manufactures linear and rotary XY stages for the microelectronics industry. The stages feature .5" to .36" travel, resolution from 1 to 0.05 microns, and laser interferometry down to 10 nanometer. Available as manual or motor driven models, the stages can be cross roller or recirculating ball bearing types.
