Multi Axis Motion and Machine Controller
The MC464 is a multi axis motion and machine controller with a 64 bit , 400 MHz MIPS processor with memory size of 200Mhz DDR. It provides OEMs and automation system integrators. It comes with a servo and stepper drive interface and Fieldbus protocols. The panel features a central controller module that can support 64 axes with ample machine I/O and Fieldbus alternatives. Fieldbus and communications modules available include Profibus, DeviceNet, CANopen, Modbus-TCP and -RTU, CC-Link, USB, Bluetooth and etc. Trio’s motion coordinator can support 4 SERCOS modules. Each MC464 SERCOS digital drive module transfers 32 bit control. It also transfers feedback values up to 16 axes at data rates up to 16MHz and a servo cycle period of 250 microseconds. -

Intergrated Thermoforming Machine Control
Brown Machine's new thermoforming machine control is user friendly and fully integrated making it visually optimal for temperature control, machine safety, discrete motion and servo motion. The system is equipped with a fiber optic noise-immune drive communications, hardware and software. There is no need for interface components and other drivers. The machine control uses an Alley Bradley industrial PC with the operation system of Windows. The color displays and graphics improves the visualization of the system for operators. Its HMI communication is managed by National Instruments Lookout Software. -

ISD720 and ISD860 - Servo Drives with Intelligence
The new ISD720 and ISD860 Intelligent Servo Drives control brushless DC and AC, DC brush, and linear motors with their embedded intelligence. The integrated power amplifier is fully digital and equipped with motion control and PLC applications. This single axis drive can function in stand alone or slave mode. With its CAN bus interface and distributed intelligence, the drive functions in a network of up to 256 axes. For motion programming, the option of using PC pr PLC with the motion library or the TML of the motion controller is available. This flexibility is a time saver since motion programming with TML can allocate intelligence, pre-store functions in the drive, or utilize I/O signals. -

IBL3605, A Minidrive with Intelligence
The IBL3605 is extremely compact at a size of 5 x 58 x 19 mm. Despite its miniature size, the intelligent servo drive features a motion controller, drive and PLC functionality, and power limit up to 600W. The drive regulates brushless, DC, step and linear motors that power up to 180W. Its compatibility with CAN/CANopen interface enables the use of IBL3605 as a network drive or a stand alone motion controller. Motion programming can be simply inputted with the PC or PLC or at the drive level with TML. By distributing intelligence amongst the master and drives, the IBL3605 can easily be programmed to complete tasks on its own. The drive maintains and configures itself and also accomplishes motion modes easily, saving time and effort for the user. MR318 Fiber Optic Rotary Encoder in Motion Control Systems
MR318 Fiber Optic Rotary Encoder is specified for feedback in motion control systems related to electromagnetic fields. It provides 360ppr (1°) resolution. The MR318 rotary sensor uses a 58mm synchro housing and connects to the MR310 Remote Encoder Interface Module through its fiber optic link. It provides measurements of its angular position and shaft speed as well as feedback for actuator or motor control. Eco-Friendly Cables for Servo and Spindle Motors
These new environmental cables for servo and spindle motors are made of a polyurethane mold; they are built to be durable and to withstand rough conditions of the environment. Instead of traditional methods using assembled connectors, the polyurethane mold prevents leakage and corrosion. The mold was applied on feedback and on connectors for power cables, brake and fan. Thus the connectors are made of solid plastic making it very sturdy. Beside its robust quiality, the new cables are also adjustable to new and old machines. The cable length can range from 1 to 25 meters. Spindle motors can opt for 105°C PVC cable jackets that repel oil. Servo motors can opt for Standard polyurethane jackets. -

Hassle-Free, Brushless Linear Motor - 1FN6 Series
The 1FN6 series is a new line of synchronous, brushless linear motors that have a magnet free secondary track system with an air cooled primary section. These new motors are integrated with the SINAMICS and SIMODRIVE drive systems and are competitive against other light duty applications. Unlike other synchronous linear motor designs, the 1FN6 series are easy to install and not complicated by the safety regulations of the secondary track due to the lack of magnets. The magnet free feature prevents the worry of chips and corrosion. The air cooled primary section is aluminum with easy power and signal cable connections. These primary sections are adaptable and multiples can be implemented on the secondary track moving in same or opposite directions or on linear motors. -

Compact and Price Efficient E-616 Controller
Physik Instrumente released the E-616 controller. The E-616 is specialized for piezo based tip/tilt mirrors and tip/tilt platforms. The multi axis piezo tip/tilt mirrors are based on parallel kinematics and as a result, all actuators affect the same platform. The E-616 is a multi channel controller available in 4 open and closed loop models, bench top module version and OEM module version. The closed loop model is equipped with two servo controllers, sensor circuit channels with an addition to 3 power amplifiers. The controller features three integrated amplifiers with a peak power of 10 W and an internal coordinate transformation. Front and rear panel connections make the controller an easy set up and operation.
