Linear Drives

VG Scienta's line of linear drives includes LDC micrometer drives, push pull drives, and screw drives. The micrometer drives feature axial load of 25N and are available in 25 mm or 50 mm stroke. The push pull drives feature manual or pneumatic operation, and travel of 25, 50, or 100. The screw drives are available with manual, stepper motor, or DC motor operation. All three drive types feature flange outer diameters ranging from 34 to 70 mm.

Amacoil Inc. offers two linear drive models for reciprocating motion applications including winding machines, spray and coating equipment, packaging, converting, textile, automotive, metrology, CNC machining, and scanning devices. The linear drives feature axial thrust up to 450 lbs. or 800 lbs. and travel up to 12 feet or 16 feet for RG80.

Parker Motion Control Systems belt-driven recirculating ball bearing linear drives and ball screw-driven recirculating ball bearing linear drives for accurate positioning of medium loads. The drives are also used for screw, belt, and linear motor drive applications, and can be directly mounted on a machine bed.

Physik Instruments produces piezo linear drives that feature travel ranges up to 150 mm, forces up to 10 N, and velocity up to 0.5 m/s. The drives are used for system integration, automation, handling, micromanipulation, biotechnology, and metrology applications.
